The Yankton County Commission has voted to increase the wheel tax by a dollar per wheel up to four wheels.

Commissioner Dan Klimisch asked why the proposal didn’t cover larger trucks…

The proposal passed on a three to two vote.

The money will be dedicated to road funding.
