Yankton County Commission Re-organizes, Elects New Chairman

The Yankton County Commission reorganized at their first meeting of the year Tuesday by swearing in two commissioners and electing a new Chairman.
Gary Swensen joined the commission, replacing the outgoing Donna Freng, who didn’t run for re-election.
Don Kettering won another term on the commission and was elected Chairman for the year, replacing Todd Woods, the Chair for the past two years…..

Kettering says he wants to find issues that unify people in the county…..

Kettering says he wants the commission to keep their focus on livestock development…..

Both Swensen and Kettering were unopposed in their run for the commission.
