The Yankton County Commission passed their 2020 provisional budget at their meeting Tuesday night.
Many in the crowd addressed the commission, asking them to continue funding for The Center, the Yankton County Historical Society and the Yankton City Library. Cuts had been proposed to many of those programs.

The proposed cuts added up to about fifty thousand dollars out of a fifteen-million-dollar budget. Klimisch says its all about the bottom line…
Klimisch says they will have several more public budget meetings before they have to approve it in September.
