Yankton County Commission Moves to Re-staff Planning & Zoning Office

The Yankton County Commission continues to restore Planning & Zoning Services. Administrator Pat Garrity is on indefinite leave, and Administrative Assistant Denise Wuebben (wibben) was fired last month, leaving the office unmanned. The County has contracted with Planning District Three to provide services in the interim.

Commission Chairman Dan Klimisch says the office is functioning..

Klimisch says they commission designated the Zoning Administrator as a key employee……

Klimisch says that allows them to fill the position.

Klimisch says they would like to hire a new zoning administrator as soon as possible.
