Yankton County Commission Looking for Public Reaction to Dairy Zone

The Yankton County Commission will continue to look at the creation of a dairy overlay district, that would allow larger dairy operations. The zone would be concentrated along and near Highways 81 and 46.
Commission Chairman Todd Woods says they know there are concerns with large livestock developments…..

Woods says they approved the creation of a dairy task force to look at the possibilities…..

Woods says they are not getting pressure from the state or anywhere else to move toward larger livestock developments…..

Woods says they hope to have the task force in place by the end of the month.
