Yankton County States Attorney Rob Klimisch says he is working with the state Attorney Generals office on questions of conflicts of interest……….
Three of the five county commissioners have asked Klimisch to determine if they have potential conflicts, especially when it comes to votes on permits for large hog barns.
Klimisch says he is waiting for more information from the Attorney Generals office……
Klimisch says there could be a detailed investigation into each commissioners finances, if necessary……
No official charges have been made, but the three commissioners have all said they want any lingering questions to be answered. The three are Todd Woods, Ray Epp, and commission Chairman Don Kettering.
