The Yankton County Commission held a special meeting Thursday with the only agenda item an executive session to deal with what was described as litigation and personnel issues.

After the executive session, the three commissioners voted to authorize spending up to sixty-five hundred dollars for Commission Chairman Dan Klimisch to investigate a personnel matter. Klimisch wouldn’t specify what exactly they were investigating but was optimistic it wouldn’t cost that much….

Klimisch says the money will be spent on an outside agency, which he didn’t identify. He did say it is about employee conduct..

Klimisch says it was a recent incident…

He says it should be wrapped up in less than a month.
