As the new Yankton County Commission was seated, Tuesday they heard about zoning issues.

Phil Tau of Gayville asked the board to begin a review of the zoning ordinance…

It was disclosed in December that the online version of the zoning ordinance had not been updated and was not considered the valid copy.

Tau says he was told to go to the Register of Deeds office to find the official version..

Tau says the commission has to find out what happened and to make sure it is corrected…

The commission didn’t take any immediate action on the request.
