The Yankton County Commission approved six applications for medical marijuana operations. Voters approved the legalization of medical marijuana last year and the state has been working through the rule making process for months.

Assistant States Attorney Deb Lillie told the board how the licensing process will work from this point on……

Commissioner Dan Klimisch told the board to expect changes in the program over the next year….

The commission approved each application on a four to zero vote.
