The Yankton County Commission, in a special meeting Friday, approved the formation of a county Health Board. That board could make recommendations on enforcing laws and rules dealing with the coronavirus outbreak.

Four of the five members were clear in wanting to limit the authority of the health board….

Loest says they hope they never have to invoke the authority of the board….

The three member board will be headed by States Attorney Rob Klimisch.
