The Yankton County Commission agreed to an amended resolution opposing the federal government’s thirty by thirty proposal. That’s a program aimed at placing thirty percent of the nation’s land and water in conservation programs by the year 2030.

Despite some objections, the commission passed the resolution unanimously. Yankton County joins eight other counties that have passed similar resolutions.
