While Yankton College may have closed in 1984, those connected to the college maintain an active presence. Many of the alumni are gathering this weekend in Yankton for their bi-annual reunion

Ron Bertsch graduated in 1965, and says the college is still connected to higher education……

Bertsch says an upcoming move of the college offices to the historic Mead Building at the former Human Services Center should increase their visibility……

Bertsch says it was a big move for him years ago when he left St Lawrence to start at Yankton College…..

A tour of the former campus, now the Yankton Federal Prison Camp, is also part of the reunion weekend.
