The Yankton School Board has accepted the early retirement request from long time Bucks Football Coach Arlin Likness.
He will wrap up his career at the end of the school year.
He joined the school district as a teacher and assistant coach in 1994, and became head coach in 1999. He ends with a record at Yankton of 143 and 69, with four state titles and seven ESD Conference crowns. Including his time at Hamlin, he has a career mark of 261 and 101 with seven state titles.
