The Yankton City Commission discussed the possibility of taking extra steps to preserve the content of executive sessions, but took no action.

Commissioner David Knoff (ka-noff) says he isn’t sure the city would have the authority to make the changes…

 

Commissioner Brad Woerner (wer-ner) says the lack of public interest in the issue shows him there is no need to change the policy…

 

After extended discussion at their meeting last night, there was no consensus on the issue, and Johnson said he would let it drop at the moment.
