Yankton City Commissioners Will Discuss Land Sale

The Yankton City Commission will talk about a possible land sale at their meeting tonight.
Another attempt will be made to set the sale of about five acres just north of Stewart Elementary.
City Manager Amy Nelson…

The sale stalled last year after one bid was received, which the commission rejected as too low.

Commissioner Jake Hoffner says he doesn’t think they had enough information at the time to sell the land.

Hoffner says he would like the city to help developers build more housing, but they need to do it the right way.

The commission meets tonight, 7pm at the RTEC building.
