Yankton City Commissioners Release Preliminary Design for Water Treatment Plant

Yankton City Commissioners and the public will get their first official look at plans for the new water treatment plant in Riverside Park at the commission meeting Monday night.
The renderings show a landscaped building, with a two story, four sided clock tower.
City Manager Amy Nelson says the location deserves more than a plain brick building.

Nelson says this is not a final design.

Mayor Dave Carda says he thinks the public will support spending money on the design features.

The building will also feature public restrooms.
The commission meets Monday night at 7pm at the RTEC building.
