The Yankton City Commission earlier this month tabled action on a resolution supporting confined animal feeding operations, or CAFO’s.
Mayor Jake Hoffner says there are questions if the city is directly involved……

There have been a number of controversial applications for CAFO’s in the county.

Hoffner says he isn’t sure if the city commission should take a position…..

Hoffner says it will be up to citizens to bring the resolution back…..

Commissioner Charlie Gross said at Monday’s meeting that he was working on a new resolution.
