The Yankton City Commission will talk about a possible face mask resolution during a work session ahead of their regular meeting Monday night.

Mayor Nathan Johnson says commissioners are hearing from health care providers…

Johnson says he isn’t sure if a mask mandate could be passed…..

The mask discussion is also included in the regular meeting agenda but Johnson says that doesn’t mean they will take official action….

The city commission passed some business restrictions this spring as the pandemic began but those expired by early summer. The work session is at 6PM Monday with the regular meeting starting at 7PM. Some public access will be allowed at the CM-TEA building, but the meeting will also be streamed live on the city’s YouTube channel.
