The Yankton City Commission will look at bids for reconstruction of two blocks of Walnut Street at their Monday night meeting.
City Manager Amy Nelson say the low bid is under their estimate…..
The estimate was about two point one million dollars.
The two blocks are directly north of the Meridian Bridge plaza, and Nelson says she would like to see construction start in that area…..

The project will add wider curb areas, and features like trees and a fire pit. Nelson says she will also recommend some alternate options……

The commission meets Monday night at 7PM at the R-TEC building.
