Yankton City Commission to Debate Naming Rights for Proposed Aquatic Center

The Yankton City Commission will consider a naming rights agreement for the proposed aquatic center at their meeting Monday night.

Yankton native and former Sioux Falls Mayor Mike Huether and his family will donate one million dollars toward construction of the facility.

City Manager Amy Leon says the naming rights are part of the donation negotiations…

Leon says the naming rights are for the aquatic facility only….

Leon says the donation will cut costs to property tax payers…

The city commission meeting Monday night at 7PM at the CM-TEA (sim-tee) building.
