The Yankton City Commission held a work session on the local Convention and Visitors Bureau, which also evolved into a discussion on the “Triple B” tax, which helps fund that and other outside agencies.

Mayor Charlie Gross says the commission is close to overspending that tax source…..

Commissioner Craig Sommer (summer) says the commission may have to set strict guidelines on using the “Triple B” taxes…..

No public input was allowed at the session, and the commission may act at a future meeting.
