The Yankton City Commission agreed to a land sale for a large equipment rental business.

Community and Economic Development Director Dave Mingo said the land is just north of Menards…..

The land is being sold to Mid West Redi Mix of Vermillion. Owner Dave Hertz has purchased Clarks Rentals and will combine that with the large equipment rental business.

Commissioner Nathan Johnson said the area on north Broadway is seeing rapid development….

Commissioner Mason Schramm says the new business should help fill a gap…..

The commission approved the sale unanimously.
