The Yankton City Commission will start the process of funding outside agencies. Those could include service clubs and activity groups that depend on city funds for part or all of their budgets.
City Manager Amy Leon says those agencies will have to fit into the overall city budget….
Leon says they are still dealing with supply chain issues….
Leon says her initial proposal for outside agencies will be the same spending as last year….
The city budget for 2024 has to be done by the end of July.
The city commission will have a work session on the outside agencies tonight (Monday) at 6PM, followed by the regular commission session at 7PM. Both meetings are at the CM-TEA building.
