Yankton City Commission Opts for Education Over a Face Mask Mandate

After an hour-long work session, Yankton City Commissioners voted six to three to pull a face mask resolution from their meeting agenda. The resolution gave commissioners face mask options from the current standard up to a mandate.

Representatives of the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce told the commission they are working on the outlines of an active educational campaign and could have details in a few days.
