Yankton City Commission Continues Downtown Investment

The Yankton City Commission approved restarting the downtown façade improvement program at their meeting Monday night. Commissioners approved spending a total of sixty thousand dollars by including last years grants with this year’s program.

The city has spent millions of dollars in the downtown area in the last few years including the Meridian Plaza and a major upgrade to Walnut Street.

City Manager Amy Leon says its important to invest in the downtown area…
