The Yankton City Commission held a workshop on single stream recycling last night.

Nelson says residents would pay more per month to operate the single stream system…..

Nelson says there would be some upfront costs to buy the large carts needed for residents to collect material…..

Nelson says they would also have to work out details with the joint powers that operate the recycling and land fill.
Nelson says the commission may work with more detail at a future meeting.
