Eight of the nine candidates running for three open seats on the Yankton City Commission took part in a public forum Thursday afternoon at the
Elks Club in Yankton.
The candidates made opening statements then answered questions from moderator April Hauge.
The eight candidates are: Brian Bertsch, Tom Bixler, Bill Conkling, Ashley Dimmer, Patricia Grant, Zachery Hoover, Samuel Hummel and Dave Spencer.
Candidate Camillia Higgins did not attend.
