Yankton City Commission Approves Westside Park Contract

The Yankton City Commission approved a one point one-million-dollar contract for clean up and reconstruction at Westside Park at their meeting Monday night.
City Manager Amy Leon outlined some of the project details….

The contract will go to LT Companies of Tea, which was the low bidder by over three hundred thousand dollars. Public Works Director Adam Haberman was questioned about the differences in the bids….

Commissioner Tony Maibaum was concerned about the lack of information about the low bidder….

The contract was approved on a vote of six to three.
