Yankton Businesses Go to Boot Camp

Representatives from the Yankton Area Chamber of Commerce and several businesses spent time at a “Destination Bootcamp” in Colorado last week.
Carman Schramm, executive director of the chamber, says the meeting helps teach businesses how to make their operation a focal point for customers…………..


Schramm says they learned a number of steps in making a business stand out………….


Schramm says those that attended the bootcamp have to help spread the word in the area…………


The bootcamps were created by marketing consultant Jon Shallert, and are held three times a year.
