The last several days have been extraordinary in the efforts of planning and communicating Yankton’s plans to contain and respond to the threat of the Coronavirus in our region.

Avera Sacred Heart, Yankton Medical Clinic, the City of Yankton, Yankton County Emergency Management Center, 211 Helpline Center, the Yankton School District and numerous other community organizations have taken steps to get ahead of this potential threat.

The Yankton Chamber of Commerce is dedicated to helping our businesses protect themselves and their staff while keeping our economy running. The resources linked below will help you respond to the current threat, while giving you tools to create a plan and procedures moving forward.

We remind businesses and their employees to remain calm, follow the precautions and guidelines that have been established, and create contingency plans for the continuation of business during and after this potential threat.

To that effort, the Yankton Chamber has decided to postpone the Chamber Annual Social and Awards Event until a later date. We will also review and communicate any smaller event cancellations as they develop so that we support the efforts of containing the spread of infection.

The Chamber office will remain open as normal so we can continue to serve our business community. Please remember to make informed decisions from facts that have been shared by credible resources, and together, we will get through this proposed threat.
