Finding enough workers is a problem for the Human Services Center in Yankton as it is for a number of other health care providers in the state.

Governor Dennis Daugaard says they want to get back to full staffing…

The state facility has about three hundred beds, and normally about five hundred employees.

Employees have been concerned about mandatory overtime. Daugaard says they hope to move away from that fairly soon…

Daugaard says those overtime demands may return during the upcoming holiday season.

Daugaard says there are some difficult jobs to fill at the Human Services Center…

The Center is also searching for an administrator.
