Finance Committee member and Iowa Senator Chuck Grassley says there’s been a lot of behind the scenes work on tax reform legislation in Washington D.C. He’s looking forward to debating the measure when Congress returns from the August recess and is hopeful they can get it passed.

He expects one large piece of tax legislation to be debated and is hoping the biodiesel tax credit will be included.

Grassley says if Senators can’t get a major tax reform bill passed this year, then they need to pass a tax extender’s measure that includes the biodiesel tax incentive.

Grassley says the tax reform bill needs to be approved this year to promote greater economic growth.
