Women in Ag Encouraged to Participate in SDSU’s Annie’s Project

Women involved in South Dakota agriculture are encouraged to participate in the upcoming Annie’s Project. SDSU Extension Cow/Calf Field Specialist Robin Salverson if a facilitator of the program. She says Annie’s Project is designed to empower women by providing detailed farm and ranch management information.

She says women in agriculture have many areas of interest including family communication, farm finances, FSA programs, and marketing.

Salverson says the program also helps women in agriculture network.

Classes meet once a week beginning January 22 in Florence and you can register by January 18 on the SDSU Extension website.
