The WNAX Tri-State Old Iron Association 11th Annual tractor ride takes place Friday and Saturday, with the parade Friday at 6pm. Tri-State Old Iron President Rodger Harts says 200 tractors representing participants from six states are participating. He says the route will cover 123 miles in South Dakota and Nebraska over the two days.

He says the route Friday runs through South Dakota. It starts in Yankton at Paddle Wheel Point, goes to Old Highway 50 and then to the Volin road where they’ll take a morning break. Following that Harts said they head east.

For the Nebraska route on Saturday, Harts says they leave from Paddle Wheel Point, go up 4th Street to Highway 52, then cross the top of the dam to Lookout Point and then head west on 121 to an oil road up to the Elk Ranch and then head further into Nebraska.

He says they’ll travel 75 miles on Friday and 48 miles on Saturday.
