The WNAX Tri-State Old Iron Association tractor ride is celebrating its 10th year in Yankton. Organizer Rodger Harts says nearly 200 tractors have gathered again for the event and 24 of those riders have participated all 10 years. He says attributes the success of the ride to the people.
The tractors left Paddlewheel Point in Yankton this morning at 7am and will travel through southeastern South Dakota, including the towns of Lesterville and Menno.
On Saturday the route takes riders through scenic northeast Nebraska, including St. Helena and Wynot.
The tractor ride parade is scheduled for 6pm on Friday through downtown Yankton and the public is invited to attend.
