The democratic nominee for Governor in South Dakota is now organizing and preparing for the general election run.

State Representative Susan Wismer of Britton defeated Joe Lowe of Rapid City in this week’s democratic primary.

She says the focus is now on setting up her campaign organization…

 

Wismer says she has not talked to anyone about joining her on the ticket as her Lieutenant Governor candidate…

 

About eleven percent of democratic and independent voters cast ballots in the primary. Wismer says she sees that, and wants to engage voters during the campaign…

 

Wismer face incumbent republican Governor Dennis Daugaard, who also won a primary, over challenger Lora Hubbel.
