The American Soybean Association’s WISHH committee, World Initiative for Soy in Human Health, is meeting in St. Louis this week. Committee member and Iowa Soybean Association President Tim Bardole says the organization is working to promote exports of U.S. soy protein in human and animal diets in developing counties.

He says aquaculture is one of the more recent exciting export development areas for the WISHH program.

Bardole says there are also market opportunities for American soybeans in the European Union.

Bardole says they’re promoting that U.S. soybeans have a better nutrient content than South American soybeans.
