Spring officially arrives in just over two weeks but it is starting to appear that winter won’t make a graceful exit. University of Nebraska – Lincoln Extension State Climatologist Al Dutcher says spring-like weather will likely be delayed this year.
Dutcher says early indications show cooler than normal temperatures and above normal precipitation over the next few months.
Dutcher says the prediction of cooler temperatures and above normal moisture will be a problem for farmers during planting season.
