The Winona State University women won its first NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championship since 2005 behind an impressive performance at Sea Foam Stadium on the campus of Concordia University, St. Paul.

The Warriors amassed 134 points to win by 7.5 points over second place UMary.

Wayne State’s Michaela Dendginer was name the NSIC High Point Performer after scoring 30 points in winning three events.

Minnesota State won its sixth straight men’s NSIC Outdoor Track & Field Championships. The Mavericks, which have won eight of the last nine titles, scored 247 points to finish 125 points ahead of second place Sioux Falls.

The University of Sioux Falls Teddy Frid was named NSIC High Point Performer after scoring 29.5 points.
