Debate during a filibuster on the winner-take-all presidential Electoral College bill turned testy in the Nebraska Unicameral.
Senator Beau McCoy of Omaha sponsored the bill. During legislative debate, he took aim at the senator leading the filibuster against his bill.

Senator Ernie Chambers of Omaha fired back at Senator McCoy in response.

The filibuster worked. McCoy fell just short of the votes needed to end the filibuster and force a vote on the winner-take-all bill.
