Lincoln County South Dakota voters are casting ballots today on a wind ordinance regarding setback requirements. Dakota Power Community Wind Project supporter Brian Minish says he’s urging a No vote on the issue because the proposed ordinance, if approved, would derail any wind projects in the county.
He says the previous setback was already strict enough.
Minish says if voters approve the ballot measure then Lincoln County will lose out on significant economic development.
Polls are open from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
