The Executive Director of South Dakota’s Wind Energy Association sees positive potential with President Obama’s Clean Energy Plan released on Monday. Paul Bachman says the industry needs more support from Congress for wind energy.

Bachman says while the President’s plan has promise, it’s more important to push incentives through Congressional action.

He says more transmission capacity would allow more wind development in South Dakota.

Bachman says South Dakota lacks a sufficient transmission system.
