The American Wind Energy Association is holding their annual Windpower convention this week in Las Vegas.

Steve Wegmen of the South Dakota Renewable Energy Association says the industry seems to be coming out of a low spot of development.

He says some changes at the distribution level should help more wind projects get off the ground in South Dakota…
