Williams Contract Revealed

New Nebraska women’s basketball coach Amy Williams is not receiving some of the extra perks former coach Connie Yori did under her contract.

The athletic department released Williams’ contract to The Associated Press on Tuesday.

Williams and her husband are not provided with vehicles, communications stipends or country club memberships under the contract.

Nebraska executive associate athletic director/CFO John Jentz said the athletic administration has been making an effort to “remove the perception of perks” in contracts. Yori’s country club membership was discontinued in 2014, but the value of it was added to her salary.

Williams has a five-year contract worth $575,000 a year.
