—  Jason Pominville and Matt Cooke scored in the first period as the Wild were able to hold on and beat the Blackhawks 2-1 at the Xcel Energy Center.  Darcy Kuemper stopped 33 shots for Minnesota, which has won three-of-four.  The Wild begin a four-game west coast road trip tomorrow in San Jose.
