Minnesota Wild goaltender Devan Dubynk has been named to the NHL All-Star team for the first time in his career.

Dubnyk is 17-11-3 this season with four shutouts, a solid follow-up to his performance last year.

Since arriving in a Jan. 14 trade, Dubnyk has played in a league-high 71 games. He’s tied for first over that span with 44 wins and nine shutouts, tied for second with a 2.01 goals-against average and third with a .929 save percentage.

The All-Star game is Jan. 31 in Nashville, Tennessee, a 3-on-3 tournament this time with one team for each of four divisions. Pekka Rinne of the Predators is the other Central goalie.

Dubnyk is the 10th All-Star player in Wild history. Past goalies were Dwayne Roloson (2004) and Niklas Backstrom (2009).
