South Dakota State University wide receiver Jake Wieneke was named Tuesday to the 2015 Fabulous Fifty FCS All-America Team by College Sporting News.

Wieneke, who recently completed his sophomore season, was selected to the honor squad for the second consecutive year. He was one of four wide receivers named to this year’s edition, which is selected regardless of position.

A native of Maple Grove, Minnesota, caught 72 passes for a Missouri Valley Football Conference-record 1,472 yards with 11 touchdowns during the recently completed 2015 season. Both his 1,472 total receiving yards and average of 122.7 receiving yards per game ranked second in the Football Championship Subdivision.

Wieneke earlier was named to All-America teams selected by STATS, The Associated Press, Walter Camp Football Foundation and American Football Coaches Association.
