Keeping consumers informed and advocating for the beef industry is no small task but critical for the future of agriculture.

Emily Hass, a returning Minnesota Beef Ambassador, embraces that challenge with a passion for sharing the beef story.

“Farmers and ranchers are the backbone of agriculture, and everything we do is for our consumers,” Hass said. “We definitely put our animals and our land first, so everything that we do we’re looking out for everyone and not just the paycheck at the end of the day.”

Throughout the year the beef ambassador team hosts classroom visits, brings beef-on-a-stick to the state capitol, organizes youth activities at the Minnesota Beef Expo and more.
