As April wrapped up last week, the winter wheat condition in South Dakota was looking good. That’s according to Reid Christopherson, Executive Director of the South Dakota Wheat Commission.

He says the winter wheat condition improved despite some disease pressure in the southern part of the state.

Christopherson says winter wheat prices are holding up although it’s still early in the season.
