Engineers have located the spot where the newly reconstructed pond in Yankton’s Westside Park is leaking.
City Manager Amy Leon says there are a couple of spots that are losing water…..
Leon says the design company is working to come up with a fix….
Leon says they are waiting on the contractor to make the repairs…
The city awarded a one point two million dollar bid to LT Companies of Tea in April for the pond reconstruction. It’s a major part of the reconfiguration of the park.
Leon says they hope to start on the repairs next week.
